So who is Vic Martin? Simply put, I’m a singer and guitarist.

I’ve been performing for 40 years now. I know what you’re thinking….you’ve seen my photo and you’re thinking…. but he looks so young….that’s what you’re thinking, right?... right?? … well perhaps not, but I can dream!!

 

So yeah, 40 years, we’re talking the 70s here! I’d always loved singing as a kid and decided to buy me a guitar, and with it I made some truly horrible noises! But gradually I got better and people stopped running away…in fact they stopped to listen….weird eh?

 

And so the journey began, over the years I have played Solo, in Duos, in Bands. I’ve done country stuff, folk stuff, rock stuff, blues and pop.

 

I started gigging about 30 years ago, sometimes I‘ve been incredibly busy and others less so. I’ve recorded 5 albums:-

At present I’ve got a Solo show – Vic Martin. It’s mostly pop and rock with a bit of country (if you like that sort of thing)

Also, a duo called Algorhythm with a good friend by the name of Ian Strutt or Strutty as he’s known (see News for details)

So, who is Vic Martin? He’s just a singer really, I love music and being a musician, I love gigging, recording and collaborating with other musicians! But most of all, I just love singing songs for people.
